Beatrice is the Register on the Bilkis. A Register shows no emotion and basically keeps record of everything that goes on. She follows the orders of the Captain, but also points out what he can and can't do. A Register must always have a special candy on hand at all times, or else she will overload, and fall asleep. With no emotions Beatrice can make calm and accurate judgement calls.
