Vampires
Normally it is says that if a vampire drinks the blood of a human, they turn into a vampire, however it's the opposite here. It's when a human drinks the blood of a vampire. (Kowloon exception)
Buffy & Kindred: the embraced share the lore of a vampire bites its victim, and then has the victim feed off of them. 'It's a whole sucking thing' to quote Buffy. Lost Boys shared this lore as well, however it does vary between sources, and as Joss once said you can make up your own rules. In Hellsing, Seras was made a vampire by Alucard sucking her blood.
Kowloon Children (Child?)
In Cantonese: Kow means 9; Loon means Dragons.
This type of vampire was founded by the Nine Dragon Kings. They attack both humans and vampires alike. Unlike Black Bloods, they need only suck the blood of a human to turn them. They also have the power to control the mind of those they suck blood from, whether human, or vampire.
Special Zone
A city protect by a barrier to keep certain bloodlines out, unless invited.
Order Coffin Company
Its purpose is to mediate between Black Bloods and Red Bloods.
Suppression Team
Within the OCC, they are to prevent Black Bloods from illegally entering the Special Zone, and by force if necessary.
Compromisers
Agents who are meant to settle the disputes between Black Bloods and Red Bloods peacefully.
