In a distant future, it has been said that wolves have been extinct for close to 200 years. However this is not true, the wolves have simply taken on human form, in order to survive. The scent of Lunar flowers leads a lone wolf, named Kiba, into a city. The source of the scent is a girl named Cheza, who is in fact made from the flowers, and often called the flower girl. She has been created to lead the nobles to paradise, and away from the decaying city and surrounding areas. Once within the city Kiba means up with several other wolves. When Cheza is kidnapped the wolves form a pack, and go off to save her, and perhaps find their own paradise.
