I bought my copy from RightStuf and received decals as a bonus item as seen below. This one comes in a chipboard artbox with a shiny hologram/rainbow effect happening on it ("foil Printing" as RS refers to it as). Slim and sturdy. Stands up on it's own. The artwork used is nice. Shiro is on the front, while Neko & Kuro are on the back. The actual blu-ray disc case art is a let down as they've plastered Neko all over it. She's on the front, & she's on both of the inside "flaps" showing off as much skin as they can allow. You'd think this series was about her.
4 discs are inside: 2 Blu-ray; 2 - DVD. Oddly the same amount of eps are on both of the disc sets: 1-7 & 8-13 + Extras. Normally they tend to put less on the DVD discs. Blu-rays have character art printed on them, while the DVDs just the 'K' logo.
The 80-page booklet includes a blurb about each episode (1 page each); Character Profiles which are just the character art and a few screens; 4 "poster art" pictures; lyrics; "The Art of K" - most of which was used as backgrounds on the official site at some point; then a spotlight on the cosplayer: Kaname; and finally they've actually put in the credits in English from the episodes which is nice of Viz. |
