Yes I bought it. It seemed fitting that after upgrading to a 4K player I should buy ACC as my first 4K disc.

Oh my what to say... This wonderfully beautiful piece of art, should give someone reason enough to go forth and acquire a Blu-ray player. It's eye candy to be sure. This one makes you want to reach out and grab the objects. Textures, fine details (stitches, grooves, holes) dirt, dust floating in the sunlight, blood, bruises, scars, tattoos, and more. New scenes with characters such as: The Turks, Marlene, Denzel, and Zack. An extended battle between Cloud and Sephiroth. If you thought the battle was far to weak/short/sad in AC, you'll be very happy with ACC's upgrade. Also explains where the hell Denzel came from, which is a welcomed addition, I must say. The additions of Reno and Rude parts, and more of Tseng and Elena were nice touches. An extended Reno and Reno Helicoper scene.

Runtime is now 2hrs 6mins. You need to watch past the credits. Just like with AC, they put the Thank yous after the credits with the Theme Song playing (Safe and Sound - Japan Version. NA version has the original song: Calling, which is unfortunate), but afterwards there's still a bit of the movie.

New Theme Song from Kyosuke Himuro who also did 'Calling' from the 2006 version. This time the song is: "Safe and Sound" and features Gerard Way singing as well. If the name sounds familar, and so does his singing voice, well that's because he's from My Chemical Romance.
