Black Blood Brothers takes place 10 years after the Holy War in Hong Kong. Where Mochitsuki Jurou, referred to as Gintou (Silver Blade), fought to defeat the Kowloon Children. He has now returned to Japan with his little brother Kotarou, and quickly learns of a surviving Kowloon Children's plan to penetrate the Special Zone, which has a barrier to keep out all Kowloon Children, unless they are invited by a human.
