Jirou fought in the Holy War in Hong Kong 10 years ago, on the side of the Red Bloods. During the war he lost his Lover, Alice Eve, when their friend Cassandra betrayed them. He is best known as Silver Blade.

Although they are brothers, they look nothing alike. (Personally, Kotarou has a better chance of be related to Alice, or possibly, dare I say it, to be their son - stated before the end of the series) They are said to be from a bloodline that transcends time.

Jirou along with his little brother, Kotarou, have decided to go to Japan and check out the Special Zone. While aboard the ship, their peaceful journey is cut short by an attack by The Company's suppression team, who are there hunting Kowloon Children. After an explosion Kotarou is knocked off board in the ocean, and Jirou dives into safe him.

Enter Mimiko. She finds Jirou and Kotarou on a beach, and Jirou isn't in that good of shape either, since water and sunlight hurt him. Mimiko gets them inside. Jirou at first appears rather cold, and possibly annoyed (even a bit arrogant), to her. However once Kotarou wakes up, his mood completely changes. Mimiko agrees upon seeing & hearing Kotarou to take them to the Special Zone. Upon nearing the Zone, Jirou notices the invisible barrier, that doesn't allow certain bloodlines to pass through without invitation, and quickly announces that they and Mimiko are done. Wong and Tsang approach after he tells Mimiko. Wong tries to convince Jirou to join their group. However they are interrupted by gunfire, from the suppression team, and Jirou grabs both Kotarou and Mimiko and jumps down into a wooded area. He thinks of a plan that will allow Kotarou and Mimiko to escape safely. However Jirou didn't think Japan's Sun would be so strong, and he also manages to fall into the fountain. -_-;;

So in episode 3, Jirou is tied up in a cell against a chair, snoring.... >.> When he gets water dumped on him. Badrick interrogates him, on the events leading up to now, and the Kowloon Child. When Badrick receives a report on Wong and the others, Jirou wants to be released so he can go too, but Badrick refuses, and leaves him behind. However just outside the room is Rinsuke, who nabs the keys from Badrick. Jirou knows Rinsuke, it seems he arranged the trip to Japan. But he's not completely useless, he brought along Jirou's blade. He suits up and heads to the location reported by Badrick's men.

Upon arriving Jirou finds the battle has already begun. Since Jirou is extremely weak, he has a hard time in aiding the Red Bloods and Wong, against Tsang and his mind controlled posse. But then Tsang commands Chan to come out holding a bound & gagged Kotarou. They take off, and leave a tired Jirou behind.

Episode 4, Jirou wants to go after them, but Mimiko tells him he's in no condition to do so. But still he needs to go after Kotarou, that's when Rinsuke shows up and offers use of his bike to Jirou, and tosses him the keys, but Mimiko intercepts them. She then offers herself, err-- her blood to Jirou. Instead of biting her via the neck, he does it via her wrist area. Afterwards, he teases Mimiko a little, and also tells her that she can sense what he is feeling because her blood is in him, but that he cannot sense hers, because she did not drink his blood. Then he, Mimiko and Wong, set off to stop Tsang, who is heading towards the Zone. Jirou takes out the lackies first, and then nears Tsang. Tsang uses Chan as a shield with Kotarou, but Wong snaps her out of the control, only to have Tsang take her over again right away. In the end Chan is shot by Wong, and Tsang killed by Jirou's blade.

Mimiko tells Jirou and the others that they can go to the Zone to get away from the reporters. Jirou reminds her that he and Kotarou cannot enter, but she tells them that's not true, and openly 'welcomes' them. Wong parts ways with them upon entering to bury Chan's remains. u__u Mimiko invites them to stay at her place, but warns Jirou that she'll be sleeping with a bucket of water. Jirou teases Mimiko some more, like how she is a virgin, so she takes her anger out on him.
